Vision
Living connectedly - that is our vision of the future: People, their needs, social as well as business processes are ambiently supported by an IT infrastructure. We call such a society the NOMADS Republic (NOMADS – Networks of Mobile Adaptive Dependable Systems). Billions of sensors, actuators, mobile devices, networks, computers of all sorts, and users interact in a dynamic environment. Three of the most important characteristics needed to make the NOMADS vision come reality are "M-A-D" - Mobility, Adaptivity and Dependability.
